N2  - In response to a request from the Director of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, several members of the staff of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory participated in a technical review of a draft paper by C. D. Bowman and F. Venneri dealing with the potential for nuclear criticality in the geologic disposal of fissile materials. This review consisted of a consideration of the technical issues raised in the draft paper, and did not include discussions with the authors.
